Prior to retirement in November 2024, Robert was one of Deloitte’s most senior partners and held senior leadership roles including Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Risk and Financial Advisory, and served firms largest accounts in Energy, Healthcare and Government sectors. 

Robert was a part of the firm’s leadership team. Over his career, he held roles at the office, regional, national and global levels. He also led the practice delivering risk advisory services to the US Government. 

Robert held leadership roles throughout North and South America for Risk Advisory, and globally for Risk Advisory’s Energy and Industrials Industry. These roles culminated in becoming Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Deloitte US Risk and Financial Advisory Business. During his leadership tenure, the US Risk & Financial Advisory Business exceeded $3.5B in revenues and was acknowledged as the #1 rated Risk Advisory Practice in the marketplace.

Robert is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP). With NCV founders, he focuses on the intersection of accounting and information technology, specifically how technology is managed and controlled to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial and management reporting.

Robert is a member of the Texas A&M University – Mays School of Business Accounting Hall of Honor and has served on several academic advisory boards at the University. In addition, he serves on the board of the Alley Theatre in Houston, Texas and has always been passionate about his long-standing community service to the arts and education.
