Rick, Co-Founder and CFO at NCV, enjoyed a highly successful 33 year career at Deloitte spanning Audit, Deloitte Consulting, and Risk & Financial Advisory. He served in multiple leadership roles including the National Controls Testing Leader, Deloitte Private RFA Mid-Market Practice Leader, Digital Testing & Controls Automation Practice Leader, and Strategic Initiatives & Chief of Staff to CEO. He served as the Lead Risk & Control (Sarbanes -Oxley) Partner for many of Deloitte’s largest Public and Private clients such as Blackstone, Lazard, Royal Bank of Canada, Morgan Stanley, and Goldman Sachs.

Rick has a strong philanthropic bend and dedicates a large portion of his time and attention to serving healthcare, educational and faith based organizations in his community. He enjoys teaching and developing new talent both technically and with soft leadership skills. He was an active and repeat faculty at Deloitte University and has taught as an adjunct professor at Manhattanville, Mercy and St. Thomas Aquinas Colleges. Rick is also Chair of the Audit & Compliance Committee of Montefiore Nyack Hospital, and on the Board at LifeLens Technologies Inc., a pioneering medical device manufacturer.

Rick brings NCV founders his deep expertise in corporate governance and controls, strong analytical, problem-solving and technical skills, and the ability to help facilitate communication and conversation across leadership teams. He is fiercely committed to supporting founders, finding their rhythm from a governance and financial standpoint, and leading them to a successful exit.

Rick and his wife, who is a native of India, enjoy traveling, and through his travels and experience Rick has built a strong understanding of how things work overseas, particularly in India. In his spare time, Rick can be found riding one of his many motorcycles in the buzz of the city, along the coast or in the hill country, or enjoying time with his family, that includes his best friend - his french bulldog!
