Kirk is a passionate leader with a keen desire and ability to help founders transition from a start-up mindset to a disciplined, institutional operating model, leveraging his deep knowledge and experience in a successful financial services career.

Kirk, now retired, is a highly experienced leader who has enjoyed a 40+ year successful career in financial services and banking, primarily at Wells Fargo. There, he held multiple leadership roles including serving as regional and market president where he operated and oversaw a multitude of branches and managed a large employee base. In addition, Kirk led and managed business and private banking operations across multiple regions, further expanding his knowledge base and expertise.


Kirk brings a strong background in financial services and banking, with expertise in financial statement and business plan analysis, commercial credit underwriting, developing retail store networks, budgeting, and managing people operations. He has developed a strong network in this industry, and through his community involvement, that he intends to leverage to help propel NCV founders forward.


An Omaha native, Kirk earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He has remained closely tied to the university, previously serving as the President of the College of Business Administration Advisory Board and is currently a University of Nebraska Foundation Trustee. As an active and dedicated member in his community, Kirk is deeply committed to advancing housing opportunities and ensuring at-risk youth have the educational foundations they need to thrive. Professionally, he finds great purpose in mentoring young professionals as they navigate their career paths and providing strategic guidance to help small organizations scale and succeed.


Kirk demonstrates his commitment via multiple leadership roles including serving as the past Chair and current member of the Board of Governors and Executive Committee at the Joslyn Art Museum, Board Secretary and Director at the Midwest Housing Equity Group, Board Chair and Director at the Midwest Housing Development Fund, and Treasurer and Director at the Teen Center Omaha.


On a more personal note, Kirk shared that one his biggest accomplishments is having traveled around the world not once, but twice! He is eager to find new adventures and experiences to build out his bucket list!
