John brings 35+ years of global leadership experience as a partner at Deloitte Consulting, where he served on executive committees in both the U.S. and globally, and led organizations with $1B+ in revenue and 5,200+ professionals across six continents. His capstone role at Deloitte was as Vice Chairman for the International Olympic Committee (IOC) relationship and Global Lead Client Service Partner, where he architected a first-of-its-kind 10-year Deloitte/IOC TOP sponsorship, including the technology platform implemented at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games. Prior at Deloitte, John held multiple critical leadership roles including: Global Consulting Performance & Delivery Excellence Leader, Chief Quality Officer, Managing Partner of Products & Solutions (engineering 10x growth in asset-based revenue models), and leader of the Government & Public Services consulting practices in the U.S. and globally, delivering 100% global practice growth across 70+ countries.
John is a Certified Empowerment Coach and Mentor and has spoken at venues including the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Consumer Electronics Show, and government leadership summits in India and Saudi Arabia. He holds an MBA in Finance and MS in Information Systems from the University of Pittsburgh & Katz Graduate School of Business, and a BS in Business Logistics from Pennsylvania State University.
John’s network runs deep across Big Four leadership, U.S. and global government technology, the Olympic and major-events ecosystem, and the Pittsburgh-area business and academic community. He has a strong reach into venture capital, sponsorship and brand partners, and senior corporate buyers. For NCV portfolio companies, this translates into introductions to enterprise customers, strategic partners, capital sources, and operators who have built and scaled in similar markets.
John is passionate about helping leaders and founders grow — both their businesses and themselves. Decades of mentoring and his work as a Certified Empowerment Coach have taught him that the difference between companies that scale and ones that stall almost always comes down to leadership clarity and team trust. Personally, John is driven by curiosity about the world — exploring new places, meeting people across cultures, and being part of moments like the Olympics that bring communities together.

On his bucket list has been the dream to set foot on all seven continents and Antarctica is the only remaining missing piece, and John is actively planning a trip to complete the dream. He loves seeing new places, meeting people, and understanding the communities they’ve built. And Antarctica is the final piece!
