Duane attended Lafayette College before earning his MBA from Southern Methodist University. He began his career with Ernst & Young in Dallas before returning to New Jersey more than 30 years ago to join his family’s business—now one of the largest independent equipment leasing companies in the country. Today, he oversees operations and strategy while also playing a key role in real estate development, property management, office leasing, and acquisitions and dispositions.

With extensive experience across all aspects of the commercial real estate industry—land acquisition, mixed-use and apartment development, financing, leasing, and property management—Duane has worked closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and brokers to bring complex projects to life. His background also includes general credit analysis for leasing clients and deep knowledge of material handling equipment.

As a fourth-generation owner, Duane is passionate about preparing the company to thrive for decades to come. By building a solid foundation, charting strategic growth plans, and mentoring the incoming fifth generation, he continues the legacy of a nearly 100-year-old family enterprise that has successfully endured beyond the “third-generation curse.”
