David can best be described as an academic with a strong analytical mind, a keen sense for problem-solving, and a passion for mentorship and education.

A retired Senior Partner in Deloitte’s Government & Public Service Advisory practice, David served as the Quality Risk Management leader, and was the internal control and board governance expert who led the Deloitte team that achieved Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for the US Postal Service.
David's experience and expertise spans mergers and acquisitions, internal control, board governance, litigation support and risk management expertise. He is also an industry expert in Federal Government and health care (providers and insurers). David also serves as a Board member of Executives Partnering to Invest in Children (EPIC).
David brings a vast network inclusive of federal government specialists, finance and accounting experts, and healthcare professionals. He enthusiastically leverages this network to bring valuable insights to NCV and make strong connections for founders.
As mentioned above, David’s love of teaching and mentoring combined with his strong desire to achieve difficult things helps him deliver value for his colleagues and the companies he helps to achieve their missions. He is passionate about early childhood education and child care, and strongly believes that there is nothing more important in developing outstanding adults than providing excellent early childhood education and child care. He works to deliver on this passion every day - personally and professionally.
David is a proud husband, married to the love of his life, and also a proud father to two daughters and four grandchildren. On his bucket list, is the desire to sail to another continent and experience the magic of sailing and harnessing the immense power of the wind. Achieving such a difficult objective would be amazingly rewarding for him!
