A retired Deloitte Partner, David had a prosperous and diverse career working with, and advising, some of the largest organizations in the US. At Deloitte, David served as the Lead Partner for several of the firm’s premier financial services clients. He excelled at developing client relationships, leading teams, and providing his expertise to deliver value and grow the firm presence with his clients. 

In addition, David held other prominent leadership roles at Deloitte, including Member of the US Management Team, Member of the Nominating Committee, Interim Chief Risk Officer for the Americas, US Firms Regulatory Affairs Leader, and Operations Leader for a $500 million service line.

David co-chaired Deloitte’s Black Action Council, whose mission was to enhance the experience and opportunities for Black professionals at the firm. He is most proud of his sponsorship and mentorship to colleagues and clients, many of whom leveraged his guidance to take on prominent roles either at the firm or within their respective organizations.

David continues to coach and mentor emerging leaders, invest in early-stage technology startups, and serve on the National Board of the Posse Foundation, an organization focused on identifying and shaping future leaders. Posse has raised over $2.4 billion in scholarships to deserving students across the country.

David’s family, including his wife Therese, children (Sherese & Dana) and grandson Micah, drive his motivation and brings him joy every day. He is consciously working towards, and looking forward to, living and fully embracing a carefree lifestyle!
