Prior to being bitten by the startup bug, Andrew worked in corporate finance for large multinational corporations holding positions in FP&A, Strategic Finance and M&A. For the last 25 years Andrew has pursued his passion – building small companies.

Most successful entrepreneurs state that they learned more from their failures than their successes and Andrew is living proof of this. His first three endeavors resulted in less than hoped for exits. However, while trying to understand why the businesses didn’t thrive, he gained exposure to all facets of a business – marketing, sales, product, engineering, customer success and corporate services. This directly helped in his next two engagements and resulted in about a half a billion dollars of shareholder value.

In addition to working in the startup world, Andrew has immersed himself in all things Small Business. A prior member of the National Small Business Association’s Leadership Council, he also held positions on its Small Business Technology Council and has lobbied members of Congress on behalf of small businesses. For the last 15 years Andrew has served as a judge of the Manning School of Business’s DifferenceMaker challenge – an entrepreneurial contest at the University of Massachusetts – Lowell; and  sat on the Advisory Board to the Dean of the Manning School of Business.

While a majority of his time has been in technology companies with SaaS business models, Andrew is well versed in FinTech, BioTech, ERP Software, International Marketing, medical devices, grid computing, telecommunications, and mobile payments. He has significant exposure to recurring bill business models as well as physical goods business models.

Andrew is an avid golfer and jokes about having a 3 handicap - being his 3 kids handicapped my ability to play golf while they were growing up! He shares stories about enjoying skydiving and is a licensed scuba diver. On his bucket list and given his passion for travel, is to visit both poles, and visit all 50 states.
